Polly is our hostess this week for Teapot Tuesday - her challenge is HERE. Vicki is getting back into the groove again after surgery, our cards are to cheer her as she continues to get back to normal again.
Polly asked to emboss. Wish I'd had time to make another card today using the TLC from yesterday. There's not much embossing to be seen on this. It's a sad attempt inspired by Sue's (Mrs Noofy) beautiful card she made for Karen's masked stencilling TLC. I'll try again with a more detailed stencil soon. Anyway, I wiped Versamark through the stencil and embossed with clear EP, then sponged with colours, peeled paint and wild honey in the centre, tumbled glass round the edge. Stitched round the edge. The orange flower (SB Daisy Topper) was left from my recent "Background Interest" TLC. The watercoloured tissue paper (hey, at least that has some more embossing) flower was on my desk, as were the upper leaves. I die-cut the yellow flowers from watercolour paper and sponged them with ink, to fill in the spaces a bit. The green leaves are a Sizzix 3D Impresslits leaf, cut from watercolour paper, sprayed with Lindy's Starburst and rubbed lightly with Craft-T metallic rub-ons. I added a little sentiment tag, and Prills for the centre of the orange flower.
DH looked at and said "Did you make that? It's not your style, big and in your face".

Sabrina...so, so much detail here...I love the beaded center for that orange beauty. The stitching is very cool and I do see the embossed bold bg flowers
How well our DH's know us...though stretching wings is never a bad thing.

This is soooo pretty Sabrina. I love the colors of these flowers so much and I love the light blue edges with stitching. This is such a wow card and I know Vicki will think so too! I am amazed by all the techniques you use on one card Sabrina - just amazed! ~Karen.
